Grace Bay is located on the northeast coast of the island of Providenciales and is world-famous for its pristine beach, making it one of the hallmarks of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
The island of Providenciales gets its name from a French ship named La Providentielle, which washed ashore in the 18th century. The Spanish later renamed the island to the name we know today.

Grace Bay beach houses the world's third-largest coral reef about a mile from the shoreline. It’s one of the main attractions in the Grace Bay area and across the island of Providenciales. Grace Bay beach is the perfect spot for ocean exploration, whether it's snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking, or simply taking a dip in the calm waters. Its beauty draws visitors from all over the archipelago of Turks and Caicos.
Grace Bay is also the ideal location for boat trip excursions, allowing you to explore a range of islands within Turks and Caicos, including Iguana Island, Grand Turk, North Caicos, Middle Caicos, South Caicos, Salt Cay, Pine Cay, and Parrot Cay.
The Caribbean humpback whale migrates through the Turks Head Passage every year from January through April. Visiting Salt Cay, a neighboring island to Providenciales, makes for the perfect day trip to witness these amazing creatures on their journey across the oceans.
