Recipe: Local Grilled Lobster with Mix Salad and Lemon Butter Sauce
With an abundance of fresh lobster in local waters, a trip to the Turks & Caicos Islands is not complete without sampling a plateful. Island House Chef Aphril, a favourite with our guests, shares her easy recipe for grilled local lobster tail, served with decadent lemon butter sauce. A taste of the ocean back home...

Ingredients
1pc local Lobster tail
1pc Lemon Juice
Pinch of paprika
Salt and pepper for seasoning
Extra Virgin Olive Oil, drizzle
local grown Sprouts for garnish
Salad Ingredients
½ pc local Avocado, small wedges
½ cup Mango, julienne
¼ cup Sweet Pepper, julienne
2pc Cherry Tomatoes, cut halves
2Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ pc Lemon juice
Salt and pepper for taste
Parsley leaves for garnish
Mix the vegetables in a small bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper.
Lemon Butter Sauce
½ pc Lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1tsp yellow Mustard
4Tbsp Butter
1tsp Honey
2tbsp Cooking Cream
